Let’s talk about the dirty stuff. That’s right, we’re talking laundry. Like what even is launder & press? How do I know if I should wash & fold or wash & hang dry? Is dry cleaning even dry?

Don’t panic. When it comes to life, having options is the absolute best. But sometimes it’s tough to know which laundry service is right for your needs. We’re going to break down the basics and help you get a better understanding of what we do, and how we do it. And most importantly? We’ll help you choose which laundry service is best for you and your clothing.

Wash & Fold

This one’s pretty simple. Wash & Fold is the service for everyday laundry that can go into a washing machine. Practically the entire contents of your hamper - dirty gym socks, shirts, tees, sweats, jeans, and yes… even sheets and towels. When we pick up your laundry for wash, dry & fold, forget the time suck of sorting, pre-spotting and checking care labels. We do that for you! Everything is washed in cold with our all-natural detergents, dried on medium, and returned neatly folded and ready to be put away. What about household items you ask? Many blankets, comforters, and pillows are machine washable, so no worries – this service is for those items too.

Wash & Hang Dry

The Wash & Hang Dry service is a great choice for all of your clothing, but essential for items that should avoid the heat of a dryer like undergarments, activewear, swimwear, and other delicate pieces. Technical fabrics (like your favorite yoga leggings), nylon spandex (think that cute summer swimsuit), lace, and many natural fiber knits can lose their shape when placed in the dryer. Your delicates can snag, get twisted up, or stretch out when tumbling in the dryer drum (don’t worry – we use mesh bags to protect them while in the washing machine!). Not only is skipping the dryer gentler on your clothing, it’s gentler on the planet too! You save energy and reduce your carbon footprint when you choose air drying over the dryer - a win-win for you and for mother nature.

Launder & Press

Got dress shirts? Business shirts? Favorite button-downs? Then Launder & Press is the way to go! Your shirts are pre-spotted for stains (yup, shirts are famous for the good ol’ ring around the collar), washed with eco-friendly products, dried for a hot sec, and then placed slightly damp onto a super-fast pressing machine (pressing not only gets out all the wrinkles, it also helps to maintain a shirt’s shape 👍 ). After a final post-press inspection, they’re ready for delivery - hanging or folded … your choice. This service is perfect for button-down shirts made of cotton or cotton-poly blends, while shirts made of linen, silk, wool or other specialty fabrics are best cleaned with our Dry Cleaning service👇.

Dry Cleaning

Machine Clean |  Machine Dry  |  Press  |  Hang or Fold

Dry cleaning is a process that doesn’t use water. Sure, that should make sense given the name, right? But (PLOT TWIST) dry cleaning still uses liquid solvents to clean your clothes. Once your clothes have been checked for places that may need a little more love (missing buttons, undone seams, etc.), they’re pretreated for stains and placed into a machine with eco-friendly solvent for cleaning. A few rotations to loosen any soil, a rapid spin, some warm air, and voilà! Your clothes come out clean and dry, ready to be pressed and finished for delivery.

So, what exactly should be dry cleaned? Any fabrics that can shrink, distort, or lose color when saturated with water (think certain wools, silks, linens, and many synthetics). Any items that have delicate buttons or embellishments and require special care (hello sequins and lace). And, any structured pieces like neckties or blazers with shoulder pads. Still not sure? Check the care labels! If the tags say “Dry Clean Only” or have a little circle icon ⭕, then you’re sure to know that dry cleaning may be the right choice.
